Take A Load Off, LLC was conceived in 2018 when my parents decided to downsize. They had accumulated 50 years of stuff and had no idea where to start. I discovered their agility hindered them and they couldn’t reach, bend or do what they needed to in order to get the job done. That’s when I stepped in to help. Being organized helped me get them started and focused on the task at hand.
After years of accumulating meaningful belongings, decluttering is an emotional, stressful and daunting task. I will inventory your possessions and help create piles of what to keep, what to toss, what to donate and of course what to share with family and friends.
My business was started shortly before Covid-19 changed everyone’s plans. I was working with clients who were unable to come back to NY to handle their move. I helped them with everything. I met with the movers, waited for the Junk removal and donation companies, coordinated any final service calls, and was there on moving day to help facilitate the move. Whatever they needed to get the job done.
